Ms. Knapp is a Principal of KFH Group and has more than forty-seven years of research and practical experience in transit planning, funding, operations, evaluation, and research. Ms. Knapp is currently Project Manager on Transit Planning Task Order Contracts with Maryland DOT/MTA, NJ TRANSIT, Virginia DRPT and NCDOT. She has conducted Triennial Reviews of transit systems for the FTA and is knowledgeable of federal program and planning requirements. Ms. Knapp is the Project Manager for on call transit planning contracts in Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey and Virginia that include Compliance/Triennial Reviews/Drug and Alcohol Reviews of local transit systems.  She has developed TVI Plans and conducted TVI Equity Analyses for small and large urban transit systems. In the area of paratransit planning, Ms. Knapp has conducted the analysis and review of the effectiveness of paratransit services at a wide variety of transit systems.   Ms. Knapp has a long history conducting transit research, much of it focused on rural/small urban transit or assistance to State DOTs in management of state transit programs.  Ms. Knapp has been the Principal Investigator on a dozen Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP)/National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) projects that have resulted in TCRP/NCHRP published reports and Guidebooks.
