pedestrian crossing

KFH Group has inventoried and assessed over 20,000 bus stop facilities in cities and counties across the country, including six jurisdictions in the Washington Metropolitan region. The assessments focus on compliance with accessibility standards and guidelines under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), pedestrian safety, passenger amenities, and signage information.

In addition, KFH Group has developed a methodology to evaluate walk paths, curb ramps, and intersections surrounding transit stops and stations. We most recently applied this methodology within the Arlington, Virginia transit corridor under contract with the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments.
